“California’s children are what really matters,”
Ruth Eraza, Salinas

“I became a childcare provider because it is a gift to work with children.  I have the opportunity to support them as they learn important social and emotional skills. Our union provides a way  for providers, families and the community advocate  for quality childcare for California’s children. Being part of this movement makes me realize how much I care for children,  and being involved with CCP UNITED allows me to take direct actions that will improve the quality of life for children all over the state.

At my family childcare center we give and receive love. We create work plans for each child, so they can learn at their own capacity while we serve as  supportive assistants. Parents are constantly surprised when they can see how much their children are capable of doing.”
